Painted from a crappy dock with the sun at my back; I couldn't sketch this view fast enough.... It was a busy subject with very little going for it. So, what you see is what you get. 16 x20"

Tom Thumb Typewriter and Robot
This is an painting which was exciting to paint. After a few attempts with other such subjects, this composition came together fairly easily. This is not always the case.

Old Stamp Store
Front Street in Ventura has a few old homes and businesses. This is one I was told used to be an old stamp store. The gardens are well tended and it is close to the beach.
